Haiti: part two

 Part two! Finally!

Looking back at these photos I realize how big my little baby is getting!

Talapia ponds at the LSM ranch
Brunch with some dear friends! Olga and her husband Caleb. Such a lovely gazebo!
 Uncle Derek :)
It was so fun seeing our cousin Nick Waibel in Haiti! He was there on a workteam...such great timing!
 Chilaxin' with Grandma!
Headed on a bike ride! This shop yard has changed so much since I was a kid!
Hiking above the waterfall....Sophie stayed with Grandma!
 What a blast!
Um, Uncle Joel...my mouth is up here!
Flat tire..but no worries, the bike fit nicely into the Jeep!
CRP....with a surprise from Kara! It was so wonderful to see you again!
Home of Hope...they loved seeing the white baby!
This is how the ladies ride.....Sophie's favorite!
 Babysitter U. Joel...
 WAHHHHH!
Much better! ...he actually put her to sleep!
Hanging out with missionary friends...the Thompsons's.
Relaxing with Uncle MARK at Zonglais beach house!
 Lish and Derek
We spent the night here...behind where I am taking the picture is the ocean
How many boys does it take to change the lightbulb?!?!?
 She's such a lovely!
Learning how to play on the iPad from U. Joel
 Hi Jete!
Mme. Lulu was so excited to see Soph!
I'm cool like "uncle" Christophe! (In uncle Brett's sunglasses)
We'd find Joel like this...just playing with her or "reading" to her!
 You're so funny U. Derek!
It's hot in Haiti...sometimes you just need a siesta with Grandpa!
(LOVE this picture!)
 I think he's a baby whisperer....
Dan did a first aid refresher class while we were there...Mark made a willing volunteer!
Brent is also an EMT...(More on the fellow later! :) )
 Mme. Lulu!
Jidel LOVED Sophie...as soon as he saw her he tried to hold her..
Out of order....but Sophie did pretty good on the planes...only a few wailing episodes....I now have more compassion and understanding for other parents with kids on the plane!
She did best in my dad's plane!
 Snuggles :)
Testing out the tent for Pic Makaya....in the living room!
One morning we woke up Joel with Sophie beside him...
Dad, Alisha, Dan, Brent and Rob Thompson went on a two day trip to Pic Makaya...the highest peak in the southern part of Haiti. Here are some pics of their adventure!
 Geological marker! They made it!
They said it was so beautiful! (and intense in some parts!)
Ayiti Cheri....we will see you next time! :)
