Mountain Vacation

Ah....family vacations. A wonderful time to relax and enjoy a few days of "day in and day out" with those you love! So much better than a quick dinner here and there. I love getting up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee together! And staying up late and laughing over the distortion camera setting on the iPad (ahem....Erin!) Each member brings such a different and special dynamic. Ah...family vacations!

Graysen and Sophie on the way to church. It was fun getting these two together again and seeing how much they have grown up since January!

Mom found a house up near Winter Park...it was an interesting layout (one bedroom was only accessible through the garage) but it fit us all quite nicely.

Great-Grandpa Leman entertaining the littles :)
Grandpa Leman with his arms full!
Double swinging! They fit perfectly together!
We even got the pleasure of having the famous apple pie made by this lovely!
(More on her later ;)
She learns her facial expressions from this uncle...Jake!
Um, where were you Kristi? (Probably slaving away making that pie!)
3 of the 4 sisters....Erin and Tif
"Cousin" Slate is now in the horsey business
Ah....there she is! The charming Soraya! She buzzed all around the house playing with this, oh-ing and ah-ing over that, graciously feeding her baby cousins and offering them toys, and giving us that cheesy grin of hers!
 Aunties!
Each of us took a meal to prepare. Joel grilling up his hamburger sliders...yum!
The view from the back portch....AMAZING! I think this is my favorite view yet from any of our vacation houses. The lupines were even in full bloom! So peaceful.
 Jake and Tif providing music...
And the rest of us joining in! "Rocky Mountain high.....Colorado..." "There's a land that is fairer than day...."
These two thought the game "pacy swap" was the best!
Hiking and resting! (all three little ones took a nap out in nature that day!)
Oh, they might have swapped sippys too! What a cool dude... :)
Soraya loves her snacks! Such a trooper she is...always exploring!
Double napping! Having these two together makes me understand a bit how having twins would be!
Lunch on the way down with Mom, Dad, Caleb, Erin and Graysen
Thanks again Mom and Dad for a wonderful vacation! And to you bro's and sis's for making it so grand! Grandpa Leman, glad you could come up for a could days!
Love you all.....

Ps...about that Kristi...and Joel....Baby #2 is due in February! WHOOHOOO!
